Today we would like to introduce you to the advantages of FRITZ!OS 7.50. FRITZ!OS 7.50 is the latest version of the operating system for our FRITZ! products and brings with it over 150 new and improved functions. However, we would like to point out that FRITZ!OS 7.50 is not yet available for all models. Currently, the Repeater 2400 as well as the FRITZ!Box 7590 and 7530 (both the non AX version) can receive the update. However, we are working hard to make the update available for other models as well.

With FRITZ!OS 7.50, your WLAN Mesh becomes more powerful thanks to dynamic Smart Repeating. If you use a FRITZ!Repeater or a FRITZ!Box as a Mesh Repeater, you will benefit from higher data throughputs and more stability, as both WLAN bands are now available for the optimal connection between FRITZ!Box and Mesh Repeater.

Scenarios connect different steps in the Smart Home that you can perform at once, even on the go via the FRITZ!App Smart Home. With the "Coming home" scenario, you can automatically switch WLAN, smart sockets, radiator thermostats and answering machines on and off. There is also the "Leave the house" scenario, which performs actions when you leave the house. Scenarios are perfect for different situations such as home office, movie nights or relaxing in the living room, as they can perform several steps with one click.

With WireGuard, setting up your VPN is easy: just scan the QR code. WireGuard is suitable for quick and convenient access to your home network, even for home-office connections. The IPSec protocol now supports both IPv4 and IPv6 connections and is ready for use with the latest Android and iOS versions.

The FRITZ!Fon gets a new appointment calendar and a voice function. The new "Voice" ringtone informs you of calls and calendar entries with announcements such as "Call from Kim" or "Departure to the station". In addition, callers not included in the phone book can be blocked across the board or diverted to the answering machine.

Last but not least, FRITZ!OS 7.50 also brings improved performance. The FRITZ!Box now works even faster and more reliably than before. In addition, the user interface has been improved and now offers even more options for configuring your FRITZ! devices.
